Hi all....I am new to this forum, and just recently purchased a disassembled (no hardware). Soloist alder/maple drop top with an all access neck joint off of Craigslist. The seller insisted that the AANJ was done at Warmoth, though I have never seen that as an option before. It was first built in '93 and I gave 225 bucks for it. It has a few chips, and the raspberry dye job is not doing it for me, so I am going to refinish it myself. I ordered all the hardware from Guitarfetish. It will have a Wilkinson 100 trem, Duncan Invader in the bridge, and a Full Shred in the neck. It will be wired for series/parallel and coil tap in the Invader. This will be my second build. I built a hollow chamber Korina/ Maple flametop Strat, all Maple neck with pearl block inlays with Duncan Livewire HSS pickups in '07 (pro finish). I have been jonesin' ever since for another Warmoth. I sold the rest of my junk guitars to pay for the Soloist. Does anyone know if the AANJ was ever a Warmoth option?

It was probably not an option, as Warmoth don't have the necessary licenses to do the AANJ, but, of course, I could be wrong :dontknow:

Yeah, I don't think that option was ever available from warmoth. I've heard murmurs about the AANJ, but the same licensing topic always comes up, which usually means a short sharp no.

I don't think Warmoth has ever offered that. That being said, it looks well done, and I'd like to see what it looks like in the neck pocket.
