a more secure acoustic strap holder

Not everybody likes 'em, but in my eye, straplocks are a beautiful thing. But what about your acoustic guitars? I've never heard of installing straplocks on an acoustic, so is there some alternative?

This question comes after my dad has asked me to look over his Breedlove, which took quite a fall yesterday (and is remarkably unscathed, save a few cracks in the headstock laquer only).

Just do it...who cares?  Unless, of course, there is a pickup installed and the output jack is the rear strap button.  That might pose a problem!  haha
