I never really thought about red wood for a guitar, but this is hot!! :headbang1:
I'd use a mahogany back though. :icon_biggrin:

That's really sharp. He makes some fine instruments. If anyone's curious, there are more examples of his work here.
 
perfect! just like it is. i'm glad he didn't make that a 2 piece top. that thing is stunning.
 
I've only seen redwood used a handful of times and I've loved it every one of those times.  Gorgeous instrument there!
 
Very cool, nice rosewood fretboard. And looks like he's very influenced by the Schecter 006...

27", actually, but in standard tuning.  Have fun with the string tension - I imagine you could get some real piano-ish sounds out of that.
