720 mod

Hi y'all, i'm planning a built without pickguard, and 24 fret neck and a recessed floyd. Should i go for a 720 mod, or would the strings come to close to the body this way??????

The 720 mod should be compatible with a recessed Floyd rout.

Without a recessed rout you would need an angled pocket.

Whether the strings are too close to the body is probably subjective I would think.

But another thought with a pickguard and no 720 mod the strings will be at the same distance from the top of the pickguard versus from the top of the body as with no pickguard and a 720 mod all other things being equal.
