The body stripped and routed.  I need to fill the routes and repaint
What filler should I use? And what and Where for the paint?
Any help would be appreciated.RVTS

Some pictures would help to really say for sure, but anything large enough to be termed a "route" would be best filled with wood pieces fitted and glued in. Preferably the same kind of wood as the body is made of, although a similar type would do.

Unfortunately the routes are outside the pickguard coverage and need to be smooth and invisible after painting

The normal method for a route or cavity is to fill it with wood as tightly as possible then use small amounts of a filler substance. The filler can be either commercial wood filler or a mixture of small wood chips and sawdust and glue or epoxy. The filler will allow smoothing it out, but too much filler tends to cause shrinking and cracking of the fill, hence the need to use something solid for the larger part of filling the route.
Again, it all depends on the size of the routes. :icon_thumright:
