7 string!

Hi - Just joined and first post!

I got my roasted swamp ash body with a Koa top I selected, and a roasted flame maple neck today, along with all the hardware, to build a Warmoth 7 string.  I've been playing 50 years and have a lot of guitars, and have played 7 string a while, but I have never built a guitar.  I have a luthier in the area that will work with me on the electronics but I'd like to do most/all of the rest.

This is routed for a Floyd and I suspect that will be the trickiest since I'm not doing the electronics.

Anyone build a 7 string that has some advice on how to not "bleep" it up?  And anyone install a Floyd, even on a 6 that has any suggestions?

Same setup as a 6-er, attention to detail doesn't change with the amount of strings.

Thanks!  Great to hear, from another 7 stringer! I get that the detail doesn't change, but I've never installed any bridge, much less a floyd on a guitar that has zero hardware on it (except the posts)..  And suggestions on things to watch out for or any video you think is good?  I've watched a few on youtube but nothing that get's into installing the screws for the plate the springs attach to, etc.  Thanks again for the reply!
