They're all basically the Fender neck pockets.  The bolt holes on the guitars and 4-string basses are all the same, just the pocket is bigger or smaller to accomodate the necks.

Why?  Putting bass necks on guitar bodies and vice versa, the neck pocket is just one small headache to overcome if not handy with a router.  Bridge?  Fret realtion to scale length?  Pickup routing?

First off:  :laughing11: Second:  :icon_thumright: My first build has possibly made a big change once AGAIN. :tard:

Bear in mind that it will still be a 25 inch scale, not 25 1/2.  Warmoth Headstock, or Paddle only, unless you submit a full size drawing of a "custom" headstock, subject to approval and final price quote.  Custom headstocks start at +$45.00.

Hmm...just noticed the 25" scale. Why is that? You'd think for a 7-stringer it'd be 25 ½" to handle lower tunings better.

The 25" vs 25.5" 7 string debate has been going on for years... most of it is speculation that the low B won't intonate correctly on a 25" scale. I've talked to a guy who owns a Warmoth 7 and he no problems at all, so go figure.

Personally, the reason I don't a W7 is because I never got used to the 25" scale on my Carvin DC127 (6 string). The frets are just a little close for comfort once I get past the 15th fret or so. Yea, .5" isn't much, but I'm quite picky and it is totally noticable to ME. I still play that guitar all the time, but not my ideal.

I, as well as much of the 7 string community would have an instant orgasm if W releases 25.5" scale necks. And THEN begin to offer a 7 string neck pocket, PU and bridge routing on their 6 string bodies... multiple O's my friends.  :icon_thumright:
