Ok, what finish did you apply? It looks just like the roasted swamp ash body I got! (I need to get moving on mine, lol)

Mine isn't roasted. I started with ebony mini wax stain, it is taking multiple applications to move to black, I am matching it to the wenge/ ebony neck.

Finally got strings on, just in time for Christmas, have it wired directly to the jack, sounds terrible so far, strings are stretching, not intonated are setup but strung.

I have run into a fork and i would like feedback. I have this one and I have a sd jazz for the neck with porter t90 in the bridge.

I have a second tele I am planning out at the same time, has pearly gates in the bridge and porter t90 in the neck.

Advice. Should I move forward with sh and hs wiring using 500k pots and a push pull to split the humbucker.., or should I put the pg with the jazz and keep the t90s together?

And would the wiring for an sh be the same as for an hs, would the jazz be worth splitting. I know the pg split well
