Hello folks!
I really like the idea of the 7/8 guitar, specially with the 24" neck, but the pickup position REALLY bugs me off... it's completely off position comparing with a strat...
I think that you should do a 22 frets version of it, then the pickups would be on the right position... also give more enfasis that the 24" neck work on then...
I made a paint mockup of how would like the 22 frets, tonight I will make on AI, where can find the exactly dimensions it is...

I don't understand ...
The 24" neck for the 7/8 strat body is only available as a 22 fret neck. It's the one I've got on my 7/8 Strat (and 7/8 Tele):

As for the pickup placement, I guess you could always get the pickguard without the cutout for the (neck-) pickup hole and cut it yourself to the exact placement you would want as long as you get the body with a universal pickup route (also like I chose on the guitar above).

I think it is just the pickup positioning that Fernando is unhappy with. As Logrinn says, you could just order the body with the universal rout (though you might need to remove some more wood if it doesn't go close enough to the neck pocket).

You'd have to cut your own holes in the scratchplate - for neck and middle at least.

I think even with the universal routing, would need to re-route it, because the neck pickup is positioned for 24 frets of the 7/8 neck...

And the idea is: if I am buying a body, I don't want to route it, I want it to come ready...
