hi everybody chris from uk here have just completed my first build and would like comments on what you think

yes did the finish myself  dark salem cherry red and stained the body canary yellow cleared with nitro

I'd say you nailed the look. What color are the knobs and pickup covers? And how about the pickguard? Hard to tell exactly from the pics.

the gaurd is mint green with aged knobs and covers both from fat boys guitars have a look you can see the color a lot better on his site  regarding the bakerlite they were abs in 61
