Damn, the ones I wanted to looked at are gooonnnne!!!!!!!!

This. Can't you mark them as sold, but leave them in the shop for some time? I think I didn't even see all of them.
Now I really dig a quilt maui fade soloist sss + floyd

No way to make sold items visible on the front end. You can see examples of all of them here: https://www.pinterest.com/warmothguitars/warmoth-wood/

If you want one, they are available as a custom order at any time by calling in.

Well, actually, there is.
You just type in the item number in the Item number search box.
So if you type in PS14720, you'd get:

https://www.warmoth.com/Showcase/ShowcaseItem.aspx?i=PS14720&Body=2&Path=Body#.Xm_p8BdwFt8

(stating that this item is sold ...)

Yes, true - if you have direct link you can visit a specific product page. We did that some years back so that external links would still be valid once an item was sold.

What I meant is that currently there is no way to leave sold items up so you can browse through them in category level pages of the showcase.

I have been thinking about  P90neck + TV jones Bridge Pickup guitar for some years , as this and more simulation collection .

I can attest it's a great combination... there's a p90 behind that jazzmaster cover, just drilled the holes in the right spot.

I think Hendrix posted the pics.  I got an idea of the price.  Now I just gotta save my beans.  I’m jealous of the folks who scored one of these bodies.  They are really beautiful, awesome paint jobs.

Yeah they’re amazing - got some bean saving todo too...

We've done those a couple times. The one in the video go from one blue to green. We did some another time than went from copper to green. It was a more dramatic change.

We'll probably do them again at some point.

Is that a Base color, followed by tinted lacquer ?

not exactly. You first do your filler/level coat, then the first color coat, often black. Then the flipflop finish and then optionally, a dye with a binder to pop the color. The flipflop finish is something you can simply buy as-is :)

Ok, I see. Thanks for the explanation. I may have to investigate that further.

Definitely the prettiest top of the Maui fade ones, and the same wood was used for several tops in this run (including I think the Pele Fade Strat I got.)
While we're at it here is a collage of some of the bodies from this run:

For some reason a Capri orange Jazzmaster is showing up on the 40th anniversary dye-finish page - maybe still a throwback to the odd error in the email teasing the new dye-jobs?

I mean, the Capri orange Jazzmaster IS gorgeous, but it's a whole 'nother biscuit, innit?

What you are looking at is the "Special Finishes" page, which at the moment is populated mostly by 40th Anni Dyes...and one body that is NOT Capri Orange, but a prototype that is more of a salmon color, and thus also marked as a Special Finish, since it isn't any other color that we offer.

The odd error in the newsletter was me. I reused a previous newsletter as a template (can you guess which one?) and forgot to remove the links.

Ah, thank you, The Aaron, for the explanation.  I had not hovered over the piece to see that it's actually a special finish.

And I hope you understand I'm not giving you stick over the newsletter thing.  You are truly as accessible and humble a company representative as I have ever encountered in my years of interacting with companies both as a businessman and as a consumer.  Your love for the art we all pursue and your respect for your customers is evident in your every post, as is your commitment to professionalism as a marketing dude.  I - and I suspect all, or at least way more than 95 percent of us - am grateful for your participation and gentle guiding hand on this forum.

And as long as I'm hijacking the thread, here's the special finish and Capri orange, one right after the other.  There is a clear difference when they're A/B'd against each other.

Wow. Thanks...I'm blushing.

Don't worry, I didn't interpret your post as jumping in my business. Even if I had, I wouldn't have let it bother me. That's not my jam. No need for apologies.

You can keep the compliments coming though. In the future, please CC the Warmoth execs. :)

One of the Maui Fade Quilt Teles was cancelled and will be going back up for sale today. Just thought I'd give the UW a heads up in case that was one someone missed getting and was going to regret it for the rest of their lives. Unless you now spent that money on a years supply of TP.

thanks for Warmoth hard working in this period, my 40th Anniversary Dyes order send out before lockdown. I finally got it now after re-shipping .

4K video from unboxing to testing different neck / pickup and hardware combination build ideas . Which one you like ?

What happened to beautiful Telecaster, I show in last video ?

Also thanks Warmoth included a T-shirt and a thank you card with pick holder key ring in the package.
