I imagine Warmoth is still pretty backed up from the big sale, and the extra amount of custom order business it generated as a result of selling so many showcase parts, but I am getting antsy!!! Its been 3 weeks since I ordered my custom bass neck and now that Mendy is done im ready to move on to completing my next Warmoth!! :)

Anybody else in the same boat on a custom order or have recent experience with their custom turnaround time?

Yep.  Have patience.  You should expect to wait 6-8 weeks for a custom neck.  But it will be worth the wait.

I think I'm close to three on waiting.... its ok, I'm not checkin too close and its worth the wait!

Got some hardware inbound to help keep the boredom from getting too bad.

ditto on the inbound hardware, but right now its all neck hardware :laughing3: Im tempted to pull the trigger on the body for my next project, but im trying to practice some fiscal restraint!! lol Im showing my first build tonight (Mendy in the finished section) maybe I ll drum up some business from that to help support my guitar addiction. :) The fact that Mendy is away and not here for me to play on is probably the leading cause of my antsy-ness

my showcase neck took 4 weeks to get ready. from scratch could easily add a week or two to that.

The key is to have two slow projects going at once, in different, and overlapping stages!~
