$2800 fair for this?

Something you should know about the Supremes:

They don't have a cavity cover nor switch cover on the back of the guitar, so access to any internal electronics will prolly
have to be thru the jack cover.

You have to be careful with anything Gibson these days.  There are a lot of copies coming from China.  This one may be legit, but check anything carefully.

The online price of the LP Supreme seems "fixed" at $3409 for a new one, so assuming it's a real Gibson, that's only about an 18% discount; if you're interested, try countering back at a lower price after checking it out. Nobody in the history of the world ever paid the "List price" for a newish Gibson LP, that's meaningless.

Gibson experts will be able to tell this more accurately, but it looks like this is a fake. the Chinese gibsons have a bigger gap in the "O" making it look like Gibsun... which is what I think I see here..

I'm not planning on buying it. If I want an LP, I'll build it. I'd spend less and have something more playable. Besides, nearly 90% of all Gibsons/Epipones (or, to say the least, 90% of them that I've played) have the 60s neck profile, while I personally would rather have something with the fatter profile.

I know what you're talking about, but can't really tell from that picture.
