2-Way Toggle Switch

Is there a 2-way toggle switch that looks like a 3-way? Or is there a way to make a 3-way into a 2-way? I recently picked up a jazzmaster and I want to replace the upper slide switch with a full toggle like the "F" TVL model.

If you don't mind losing the aesthetic, you could use a full sized toggle switch, if you find one that is not heavy duty enough to have excessive switch pop.

What switching pattern do you need?

Here is a way to convert a 3 way to a 2 way but not sure if it will match what you have in mind.

That's conversion from center-on to center-off. Still a 3 way switch.

Generally speaking, there's no difference in appearance between a two-way and three-way switch. You just lose the center position on a two-way.

Almost any toggle switch you can find will come either way, and also with numerous poles. You might want to row through the choices on the various electronics supply sites like Allied, Mouser, Newark, etc. The number of choices you have will make you crazy.

depending on what you want to do this should work https://images.search.yahoo.com/images/view;_ylt=AwrTcXuopP9TaEMAd3CJzbkF;_ylu=X3oDMTIzZWRiMjViBHNlYwNzcgRzbGsDaW1nBG9pZAMwZDU0ZTcxN2I0MmNkMGQzYTMxOTM5NGRkZWU5YTVlMARncG9zAzEyBGl0A2Jpbmc-?back=https%3A%2F%2Fimages.search.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%2Fimages%3Fp%3D2%2Bway%2Btoggle%2Bswitch%2Bspdt%26n%3D60%26ei%3DUTF-8%26y%3DSearch%26fr%3Dcrmas%26fr2%3Dsb-top%26tab%3Dorganic%26ri%3D12&w=1100&h=1100&imgurl=m4.sourcingmap.com%2Fphoto_new%2F20111219%2Fg%2Fux_a11121900ux0287_ux_g03.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sourcingmap.com%2Fsingle-pole-double-throw-pins-onon-position-250v-15a-toggle-switch-p-178683.html&size=98.7KB&name=AC+250V+15A+Screw+Terminals+ON%2FON+%3Cb%3E2%3C%2Fb%3E+Position+%3Cb%3ESPDT%3C%2Fb%3E+%3Cb%3EToggle%3C%2Fb%3E+%3Cb%3ESwitch%3C%2Fb%3E&p=2+way+toggle+switch+spdt&oid=0d54e717b42cd0d3a319394ddee9a5e0&fr2=sb-top&fr=crmas&tt=AC+250V+15A+Screw+Terminals+ON%2FON+%3Cb%3E2%3C%2Fb%3E+Position+%3Cb%3ESPDT%3C%2Fb%3E+%3Cb%3EToggle%3C%2Fb%3E+%3Cb%3ESwitch%3C%2Fb%3E&b=0&ni=288&no=12&ts=&tab=organic&sigr=13b41ubdi&sigb=145k8upb0&sigi=125mu83up&sigt=12r99huqh&sign=12r99huqh&.crumb=mR3waoSQ6zg&fr=crmas&fr2=sb-top

You want a SPDT switch

I guess I should have been a little more clear. I use the rhythm circuit a lot and I'm tired of catching my thumb on the edge on a sharp plastic thing. Plus I miss it a lot and I need something that I can get to easily.

Thanks to everyone who chipped in :)

Yes that is correct it's still three way but with two active positions. Which may have been what the OP was looking for as otherwise I was wondering why not just buy a two way switch.
