Hey everyone! So I started another new build! I placed an order last night for a hybrid Strat body but added Strat neck. Purchased the neck from the showcase.

I haven’t decided which humbucker or P90s I’m going to put in.

Interesting setup with the two p90s and and a hum in the middle! I really like my hybrid strat.

I wonder if you could set it up so that you could split the humbucker in a way that would cancel out the p90 hum in the 2 and 4 positions...

The concept seems great, so I’m a fan. Did you consider a solid colour like Fiesta red or Daphne blue for a bit of contrast?

Humbucker splitting is definitely possible with a 5-way blade. Maybe use the humbucker screw coil in Pos 4 and the slug coil in Pos 2. Then it requires a mini toggle switch to select neck + bridge P90s together.

I did, but something about the wood look satisfies me. I absolutely cannot wait to see both the bodies and necks! (My other order is for a pearl white)

I’m thinking two Gibson P90s (maybe Fralins instead of Gibson’s) with a Seymour Duncan Jazz(neck) in the middle.
