MJT guitars has made (or will finish) checkered bodies. At least they have in the past. Also, Painted Player Guitar in the UK did a custom pink paisley finish for me on a Warmoth body and pickguard. Wasn’t cheap, but it was excellent work.

I’m still a Falcons fan even though they played in a dome for years, and now a retractable roof stadium. Not a fan of either. I’m an outdoor football purist I guess. I’m definitely not a guitar purist though. Haven’t owned a tube amp in years.

Nice! While I do not have a cat themed guitar, I do have several bite marks on my roasted maple headstocks from a cat that loved chewing on them.

I’m a Julian Lage fan as well. I saw an interview with him once where he said he used the Tele bridge pickup only throughout an entire tour (just as a challenge to himself if I remember right).

No time for KNS6 love while I’m putting together my 23rd Strat. I like the KNS6 okay, but the Strat is ergonomically perfect for me and I love the added contrast that a different colored / designed pickguard gives it.

Watched the Pavement movie this summer and discovered about 14 years ago Pitchfork put this as their #1 song of the 90’s. They’ve since made a revised list that has Mariah Carey’s Fantasy (remix with ODB) as #1.
