What colors, paint schemes would you like to see offered by Warmoth

No timeline yet on the swirls, but I will say I took everything home to my shop. Just can't get the time to perfect the technique at Warmoth so afterwork and weekends I will play with some swirls. So in the meantime you guys can decide on the color combination. Likely the base color will be...

Ok i think i better get the Wine Red going! I have asked around the shop to have someone bring in an SG wine red so i can make sure to match and formulate it correct. I have looked at the SG's at Guitar center and have a good idea how to make the color, but i want to be sure to nail it! I...

That's funny it was a mistake from the backup painter who didn't filter the paint after adding the powder pigment. I don't know if you guys request I suppose we could make another mistake:)

Got one of those going in the showcase pretty soon. Its a Strat though and was our first test body. We decided to do them with transparents instead of dyes and are doing some more with enhanced grain to really make it pop.

    Aluminum

That finish is either real chrome plating which can be done on plastics or poly. Or it is mirror chrome from a company called Alsa. We have experimented with mirror chrome and while it is beautiful it is also next to impossible to spray and look perfect. It also has to be sprayed on a finished...

Ok now you CAN'T quote me on this being i am not in sales. I believe that if you order a Dye/Trans top with Black back a burstover is standard. I think you will be upcharged for a clean line which involves taping and masking the body. I hope one of the Sales guys can chime in on this!

Unfortunately the picture doesnt show justice to the finish. In real life it is actually completely transparent to the edge. The camera for some reason makes it look like a hard black line. Black burst over solid colors? Ya possibly i will have to see how clean it will look after spraying...

Ya but its fun! I think some guys are like me, i can buy the tools and equipment to rebuild and engine and do it myself. Or pay some guy who already has it all and avoid the headache. Sure you learn alot and you have the satisfaction when its complete, but sometimes its just nice to have it...

We do offer all the Metal flakes in a mini. Currently we dont offer Large Chunky flake do to the contamination issues. I guess customers who didnt have a flake job were not happy about stray flakes in the pain jobs! We actually have all the large flake in stock and the flake buster to spray it...

Thats pretty abstract! Couldnt see doing this unless we actually dedicated a custom shop. Who knows someday maybe they will? Matching headstocks, yes we do match headstocks to the body finish.
