I recently received a BK Tele body with a Warmoth satin finish.  It looks fantastic, like a matte color that just lets the wood "be the wood" with no shine. When I handled in however, I soon found that the finish is so delicate it is practically useless.  Any item that comes in contact with it...

I already have the electrosocket in hand so will just install that until it bucks me. I'm really just a couch noodler, so I don't think it will be a problem.  If I somehow get good (I give it a 2% chance) and start to play live I can always switch it out.  Thanks for the heads up though.

No finish, you are lucky.  With the finish being done by W on mine I probably have another month to wait, I ordered April 2. You should check out the Swamp Thing finish that is floating around somewhere, I think it's a green to brown fade, looks pretty cool.  Might be an interesting direction...
