    Disaster Reshaping A Neck

Yep. Warmoth has paid a high R&D cost on the products we offer. I could show you lots of necks with truss rods poking through like a compound fracture, finishes that did not adhere as they were supposed to, lam tops that cracked over the forearm contour, etc, etc, etc. By the time they reach...

    Disaster Reshaping A Neck

That said, we should genuinely thank @Bdam123 for posting his experience and findings here.....for myriad reasons. A tip of the hat to you; you paid the "school fee" on our behalf. I'm now inspired to make a new video for the Warmoth YouTube channel: the top-10 worst screw ups I've ever made...

    Disaster Reshaping A Neck

Gah! Sorry reshaping your neck didn't go as planned. That sucks. I can only imagine the sinking feeling of suddenly seeing that hole open up. I have no idea what your correspondence history might have been up to now, but I know for sure that I wouldn't give you any direct advice, dimensions...

Custom Gecko Medium 5 with Ziricote pickguard

Sadly, we may never know. :(

The end of an Era for ol' Hagwood......

Well darn. I'm just a few years behind you, and on roughly the same trajectory. Up to about 2020 I was running half-marathons regularly, hiking fairly strenuous hikes without much though, etc. Over the last 6-7 years my knees have had enough. I still run regularly, but not the distances I was...

    59 vs Wolfgang profile

It's all relative, I guess. I can tolerate the 59 if it's got a narrow nut width, but 1-11/16" or larger and to me it feels too big.

New video: truss rod department tour!

There is a whole page of Warmoth factory tour videos here.

    59 vs Wolfgang profile

I prefer the Wolfgang over the 59, but my preferences should mean nothing to anyone else, really. It's all about what you prefer. I like decidedly medium necks. :)

    New album: Bad Blood

That's some detailed listening. Thanks so much! Yes, the lead gtr solo on DT is probably the one I am most proud of on this album. It just strikes me as unique, from the little pick scrape that starts it to the end run you referenced.

    Billy Sheehan: Relentless Pickup Install

I think he is a big tinkerer. I've talked to him a couple times regarding Warmoth parts, and he is about the nicest guy you could ever want to meet.

    New album: Bad Blood

Honestly, learning how to program realistic drums was hard-earned practice. I've been doing it for 40 years now! It's the result of a lot of trial and error, observation of the drummers in my various bands, and just learning what works and what doesn't. Here are a few tips: Observe, observe...

    New album: Bad Blood

Help me PICK THE FIRST SINGLE!!! I'm planning to do videos for one or two songs. For those of you who have listened to all the songs (and thank-you so much, BTW!) which two songs would you choose for the "singles"?

    New album: Bad Blood

Thanks! MIDI - I programmed all the parts. I use Superior Drummer 3.0, and I don't even render them as audio. I just leave it all in SD3 as midi. The only thing I do is add some room ambience to the entire drum bus. For that I use the FAME plug in from IK Multimedia. Can't say enough good...

    New album: Bad Blood

Thanks! My mantra: quality only exists in the midst of quantity. So I'm just playing the percentages. If I put enough stuff out there, odds are at least a little of it will be good. lol
