Neither. My understanding is that it is problematic for the paint department, causing too many things to have to be resprayed. I believe we are on the lookout for other flakes to replace it with, but no idea of timeline.

Have not tried one of those yet either, but it does seem like it was made for it! An artifact of its bass lineage.

I have not tried a neck with a 24 fret extension on a KNS6 body yet, but my gut tells me it will feel very similar to one on a Soloist body. Which is to say: it feels better than one does on a Strat or Tele (thanks to the deeper cutout), but still not as comfortable as a "native" 24 fretter.

My recommendation is to not do Jade on Ebony. They won't show up well. They look killer on maple.
