Thanks guys! I had so much fun building these. Really love playing them. Been listening to a lot of country and Redd Volkeart lately. I think Teles are my current favorite style guitar.
Ahhh thanks. I wish I had a spray booth. Couple pieces of lint in there and one of my dog's hair. Oh well. It ain't perfect but I'm happy. You can get some good results taking your time.
Both would work. Couple light coats, real light the first one. Dry between sprays. One heavier coat. Use the one for whatever look ya want.
suppertrupers advice is good. I've had good luck with Oxford.
Allright all the clear is on. Been doing some light sanding in-between days of spray with a sanding block and 320. Roughing it in very lightly with a sanding block and then real light by the borders to get it all flat and no shiny spots or low spots. Then I'll go through it with the 3M polishing...
I used a company called Oxford out of Canada. I've used Stewmac in the past with good results. Used Oxford on my last build because of the color options and it turned out so well I decided to go with this brand for all my new builds.
