As no one else has mentioned or spotted it yet. As it is a 24 fret extension it is no doubt a modern construction but you cannot see the side adjust, though the side dots you can. Meaning it is a left hand neck and not a right hand reverse. Was that a deliberate choice?
If it also has a contoured heel you will need shorter screws. If it is a normal heel the usual screws should be OK, though I would always check the depth of the holes prior to committing.
Perhaps it has nothing to do with being a Strat or strings but perhaps the Strat has a slimmer neck profile to what you are used to.
