Most Fenders use a high value cap, which is a .047. Gibsons typically use a .022. For about the last 20 years, we’ve been using .015 in our shop on any guitar with any pickup design and are always happy with the results. From Lollar website. There is no right and wrong. Do what you want.

I hear ya I still am liking .015’s for single and humbuckers.

I have decided lately I dig .015 tone caps for everything.

depending on the pickups sure. It's all down to what you wanna hear.

I have had success with 500k Volume and 250K Tones...................just sayin'
