My understanding is that works on bare wood by introducing water back into the wood. A painted body is basically covered in plastic-wrap, so I don't think this would work. But *shrug*
I got some nail polish as suggested by someone earlier. I also have several plastic and felt washers I could put around the post to cover it. So I think that chip will be okay. I am much more upset about the dents between the bridge and tailpiece. *sadface*
Hello, folks! I have received my body and neck! I think they're really lovely, and I am happy to share pictures.
I have learned a few things I can also share, along with a bit of tragedy . . . .
What I learned:
Candy Yellow is definitely more of a gold in my opinion. Photos are tough, but in...
It was a limited edition Parallel Universe model, or something like that. I love the look and was stoked when Warmoth added the Dinkycaster, so I could build my own. Here is some Fender advertising info:

I am considering buying a Guyker rolling Jazzmaster bridge for myself.... it is a 9.5 inch radius though, which doesn't match any of my warmoth compound radius necks though! Sad face.
I really appreciated all your demoing of your candy tangerine build in the videos. It showed me clearly it was a redder orange than I might have wanted. But still, great to see and know!
Well, I just placed the order. Kandy Yellow Mooncaster with white pearloid binding . . . with a matching neck sporting Kandy Yellow shaft and headstock and white pearloid binding. I will post pics in six months when I get it, lol. Very excited.
I saw that Guyker makes a roller bridge made specifically for jazzmasters. Should be perfect for your Jag build. Not sure how you feel about the brand, but it seems like they make decent stuff.
I have been dreaming about ordering a Kandy Yellow Mooncaster for a while. There isn't a lot of warmoth kandy yellow out there for me to find examples of, and I can't find any with kandy yellow and a light binding.
I think pearloid or white binding would look really nice, but I am afraid I'll...
