I use 9's, thought about going to 10's but I'm gonna wait and see what happens with the neck  :icon_thumright:

Thanks for the compliments, the only trouble I'm having is I've loosened the truss rod comletely and I'm still getting some buzz at around the 3rd to 7th fret so what I've done is tuned her up a semitone / halfstep and I'm gonna leave it a while and see what happens, any tips now would be...

The scratcplate and knobs etc are aged parts, I think it looks great on that blue body, seems to compliment the colour very nicely. The wilkinson trem is fabulous, holds tuning very well and works a treat  :headbang1:

Parts arrived last week, I added my own scratchplate and pickups from my mij strat. The body neck trem and tuners all came from warmoth, I have to say i'm absolutely delighted with the way it all went together. The only thing i'm gonna change is the bridge pickup, i'm gonna put a seymour duncan...

Yeah me too, I looked for ages before going down the Carvin route. Took me long enough to pluck up the courage to 'Build' a guitar myself

Just heard from UPS and my Warmoth parts will be here tomorrow, I will post pics once they're here  :headbang: Unfortunately though the British customs and excise people have been in touch for the import duty  :( Oh well it'll be worth it once the boxes arrive

Yeah thats the one I saw first time I looked at this body,  yeah it will be covered by the trem, hey didnt you used to hang around in the carvin museum ???

Just got off the phone with JC and placed my 1st Warmoth order, I cant wait for it to arrive, heres the neck : And heres the body :

Have sorted out the bits I want, waiting now till they open then I'll ring em. I'm in the UK so there is a time difference of -8 hours, sorry for the earlier rant its just I'm very keen to order my bits  :guitaristgif:

Hi all new here and just about to place my first order (hopefully) Have emailed Warmoth twice now, yesterday and today and havent had an email back from them  :icon_scratch: Anyone else here having the same trouble ?
