I had not thought of that!! Thank you. Oddly there was not any Padouk available when I went to the custom body build this afternoon.

On my next Strat build I am thinking of going with Padouk core wood and Indian Rosewood top. Should I be concerned that it might be on the heavy side? I would appreciate any advice. The last thing I want is an 8+ pound Strat. Thanks!

Hello! My next build is going to be a Strat body. I am considering a TOM bridge and stop tailpiece. Question is, do I need to be concerned with the neck pocket angle? Or will the neck sit too low for proper action with this setup? Thanks!

I have the same neck incoming in about 4 weeks. Yea, I think 3 screws on the cover is WAY overkill! My PRS uses 1 screw.

I wanted to share this video as well. I did a lot of searching, and I believe this is the type of finish I want on my new AAA Maple Warhead neck. The Tung Oil is made by Sutherland Welles. I'm going for the high lustre finish on this one.
