If both a 24" scale, and a 7/8th's scale would work on a 7/8th's, Mustang or Jaquar, wouldn't they have all have roughly the same overall instrument length regardless of these 2 neck choices? Not sure what I'm missing here.

Sorry, wasn't clear in what I was saying. While yes, the necks themselves may differ in length due to the overhang, I believe the overall length of the instrument doesn't change using either the 7/8th's or 24" scale neck.

Those are Bill Lawrence (wildepickups) T48 (B) and L45 (N) which is more Strat based. I have zero other Tele experience, so can't say how they compare to other Tele pups, but I like the tones quite a bit. Believe it or not, in using an EVH 50w 6L6 5150 head, the bridge pup using the "red"...
