    59 vs Wolfgang profile

I haven't played a 59, but do have a Wolfgang with 43mm nut. It is my fav' neck I've ever played. Having that extra meat in the thumb area really helps to anchor my hand. I've played a 50's Standard LP, and it was bordering on too big for me. I find the 59 Carve interesting, but would want...

    Noiseless Strat Pickups

I have experience with the Lace Sensor Golds for noiseless. At the time they came out, I believe they were considered a "go to" for noiseless. While I like their tones (a lot acutally), they are not totally noiseless though. No experience with the Bill Lawrence 280's and the like, but do use...

    Wow...

Fully agree. Why they haven't moved to a contoured heel, such as the Ultra / Elite, is strange to me. I get they are tied to "vintage", but not everyone wants "vintage", and not all their models are "vintage" focused. I looked at the American Performer seriously as it's the only offering...

    I know, I know….

Terrific idea on using a router bit for the initial carve.

First ever order! How to spec the smallest-bodied, shortest-scale build possible

If both a 24" scale, and a 7/8th's scale would work on a 7/8th's, Mustang or Jaquar, wouldn't they have all have roughly the same overall instrument length regardless of these 2 neck choices? Not sure what I'm missing here.

First ever order! How to spec the smallest-bodied, shortest-scale build possible

Sorry, wasn't clear in what I was saying. While yes, the necks themselves may differ in length due to the overhang, I believe the overall length of the instrument doesn't change using either the 7/8th's or 24" scale neck.

First ever order! How to spec the smallest-bodied, shortest-scale build possible

Very cool project......some thoughts Using their 24" or 7/8ths' 24 fret neck, I'd think the length of the neck would be the same Not sure how body size/length would be vs the T shape, but the 7/8ths' neck will work on a Mustang / Jaquar body also Tis ashame W doesn't make 7/8th's body blanks...

    Wow...

At what point is an "S" guitar not a Strat, or vice versa?

Love that VIP. Followed your build page for that guitar....absolute stunner.

Ok Let's see your number one favorite player.

This was my first Warmoth, but more importantly, my first exposure to a Tele. I had always been an LP player with a Strat. As a teenager in the 80's, I had first read about Warmoth in the guitar magazines of the era and had always wanted to make my own creation. In the mid 2010's, I finally...

Let's see some Warmoth T Styles

Those are Bill Lawrence (wildepickups) T48 (B) and L45 (N) which is more Strat based. I have zero other Tele experience, so can't say how they compare to other Tele pups, but I like the tones quite a bit. Believe it or not, in using an EVH 50w 6L6 5150 head, the bridge pup using the "red"...
