The bridge is a fender clone but good quality. I've not had good luck with cheap tuners. I used Schaller mini lockers. Warmoths price is better than anybody else I could find.Schaller strap locks also.The pickups and controls should be the best you can afford(cts,crl,etc.). I used lace sensor...

The neck wood is mahogany from the same large board. unfortunately there is no more. I did get one more neck from the board. I'll save that for my next project.

Now I'm at the hardest part. WAITING. The final coats are on and now I wait for the lacquer to shrink out before final sand and polish. It's hard to believe this was made from one board of honduras mahogany. Ken Warmoth emailed me and said in 30 years,he has never seen mahogany with this figure...

Jason Lollar of Lollar pickups wrote a great how to book on building pickups. He's arguably one of the best and doesn't mind sharing his knowledge. He even tells you how to build a pickup winder from , I believe, a refrigerator motor.
