Finally finished up my dream strat build. Sorta based it off the Suhr aesthetic (flame top, binding, etc...) Came out exactly how I was hoping it would with a set of G&L S-500 MFD single coils and their PTB (one treble cut, one bass cut) circuit.

My order of a finished strat body with flame maple top and binding + a roasted flamed neck shipped yesterday. Right about 12 weeks

Just put in my first build. Rear routed strat body with natural masked edges and red dye over flame. Guess I should expect 3 months give or take?

Ended up putting in the build with the EMG routes. We'll see how it goes!

I'm not super concerned about that part as I have a set picked out and know there are other options available. Hoping somebody has some first hand experience direct mounting them in a warmoth body though. Probably a non-issue but this is my first Warmoth build and I want to get it right! ...

Hey everybody, on the verge of putting in a rear routed strat body build and I'm curious if anybody has tried dropping non-EMGs into the oval EMG route. I prefer the aesthetic of the EMG route and my hope is to use a G&L S-500 MFD set...
