Orpheo thanks a gazillion... Hipshot, Am Std and Wilkinson are all floating, then. Seems like I'd prefer a hardtail or a Floyd... or maybe even a traditional Strat trem... aaagh! Floyd's out of the question for this project (I already have one w/ a Floyd).

Newbie here... So does this trem go FLAT on the body's surface or can it only be a floating trem? Excuse my ignorance :help: :icon_biggrin:... Is the Am Std also floating? Thanks in advance!
