    Lefty guitars... why?

Sorry for the O.T. but ...... True story. This happened to my older brother who was told by said nuns that, between his left handedness and his tendency to not talk much, that he was "slow" and would have infinite difficulty getting along in the world if he didn't get with the program. This...

    Lefty guitars... why?

My apologies for not reading through more than 3 of the 5 pages. I'll just add my .02 and reiterate a point that's been made at least once People tend to keep better (or at least more natural)  time with their dominant hand, be it L or R, making it better to pluck or strum with.

J Bass: Fender vs Warmoth: Fretboard Radius: Will I even notice?

Thanks, the slimmer neck option did seem like it would be worth the money.

J Bass: Fender vs Warmoth: Fretboard Radius: Will I even notice?

    My Lefty "Telecaster" Bass

Wow, that's fantastic. I'm a fan of the Tele Bass, EMG's, and minimal controls,  so this is right up my alley. I was thinking of just having a volume knob when I (eventually) get mine, but I also like the idea of a hardwired pickup. I assume to do it this way I would have to forgo the EMG...

    Should I finish it myself?

Good choice. I'm about to re-do a bass that I previously stripped and refinished. While I'm glad I have the experience and am looking forward to getting it right the second time, I was stripping the old finish and applying the new and it was a lot of work, and it didn't turn out well. The price...

Stripper and Shielding and Tinted Shellac

I'm Re-refinishing a bass that didn't quite get the result I wanted and I have 2 questions. Preamble: I'm using chemical stripper, StripFast...power stripper by ZinsserI to be exact. I have limited time in my work space and not nearly enough patience for excessive sanding I did put down a spit...
