The neck feels great. I never noticed it being waxy at all. It was slightly rough in places to being with, which was annoying me so attacked the back with some fine wire wool no issues at all now.

Warwick recommend waxing bodies with their Surface finish wax. I assume they apply it to the bodies in the factory as well. Maybe worth a try. Drop them an email their customer service is normally really good.
