Telecaster actually. A Cobra to be exact. The hardest part is the finish. If I have to sand the contour down, then glue on a quilted maple piece (on a curved surface) then dye it and clear coat it, I might just go someplace else. Or in all probability If I were to do all that I'll cut the neck...

I had the whole Steve Lukather set for this guitar and decided against the 85. Wouldn't recommend for crisp articulate soloing. Micheal Jackson's Billie Jean has a clean rythme funk guitar part which sounds out of phase - more than one pick up wired or switched to phase reversal. Nice for Jazz...

Warmoth could consider way more slope in its forearm contour. If they hadn't added the 720 mod it would have been hard for me to consider another Warmoth. If they enhanced the FC similiar to a Tom Anderson I would order a bolt together painted package ASAP.

The back is routed out to allow for a neck extension. The neck bolts to a piece of Punga-Punga that slides in and is screwed down between the pickups. Hole in spring cover is larger because bridge is recessed into body so far. Neck is also very close to the body. pickups don't need to be raised very far. Tremolo block is flush with back of guitar.      The nut has six individual spools for each string and works with a 13 degree tilt neck...
