    callaham fralin real54s or specialwinds

So Tonar is there that much difference between the H/SRV  and the regular special winds clean? Also, From what you say it sounds like the regular special winds don't do as well with distortion. Do they get too middy or somthing like that?? Thanks for your help all as I do appreciate it.

    callaham fralin real54s or specialwinds

I am so undecided on which set to buy. I have no real referance point for much of anything other than alnico 5 pick ups in a  strat. I guess i wonder whats going to be the most versital? What would be the best set for a strat palyed through a mesa roadking combo amp? I have e-mailed Bill...

    Callaham H/SRV.

These will be my next set of strat pick ups for sure. One of the qualitys of a great vintage style single coilis dynamics and string seperation i would guess. Anymore I am not into high output humbuckers and ungodlysaturated tones. I think that the rightfuzz pedal is the better way to go or with...

    Callaham H/SRV.

Has anyone here tried these?? They sound very interesting and I am considering them for 50s  modern/vintage spec type Strat. How do they compare to a fralin vintage hot or a seymour duncan antiquity surfer (which I have in the neck pos of a 2008 maple neck/board strat. Would you call them warm, ...

    Warmoths trem & Callham block.

Hi all.  Has any one tried mating a Callahm vintage enhaced block to the 6 hole trem that Warmoth sells? See I inquied to bill Callham about his vintage blocks and he said it would be a good thing if I could give him a model # to make sure he made a block that would fit it. The only place I...

Mini drillpress for pickguard and jackplate holes?

May i pick your brain a little? Will this work with a power drill? I have been practicing with a dremel and while i can keep it from bouncing much and the bit is new and sharp. It seems i am always a little off. Of course i don't have an awl or center puch yet but i am going to get something...

Mini drillpress for pickguard and jackplate holes?

I was refering to the body. what about the tuner screw holes (not peg holes)?? I have been looking and i know a mini drill press will not cover enough area for a guitar body but i was thinking for the tuner screw hole maybe that would do it. also i got a raw piece of wood and did some practice...

Mini drillpress for pickguard and jackplate holes?

I have been looking at mini drillpresses fo hole drilling for pickguards ect. Thing is they appear not to cover a large enough area to get to every hole i would need to drill. Any one used one for this purpose. I am iffy on using a regular drill as i have tried a mini- dremel 4.8v and it would...
