    Pickup Pole Spacing

It's actually a tele neck pickup form factor, but a p90.

    Pickup Pole Spacing

Yeah, I have no idea what that means, but that's what Fralin told me when I emailed them this question!

    A Rock n' Roll Tele

Having owned Reverends, which are made with koa bodies, I have not liked the "sharpness" that appears to come out of them when comparing to Tele customs and Gibson LPs. A Rock n' Roll Tele

Ordered the pickups: Fralin Pure PAF humbucker neck and the Steel Pole 43 bridge.

    Pickup Pole Spacing

I ordered a neck humbucker with string spacing of 50mm. This is the standard Fender string width, but since it wasn't totally standard, I wasn't sure. It seems correct, though. The bridge pickup has adjustable poles.

    Pickup Pole Spacing

I'm trying to order some pickups and I don't know what pole spacing to choose for the humbucker neck: 49.2mm, 50mm or 52mm. I've ordered a Gibson-scale conversion of a Tele neck, standard thin, 10-16 compound radius. The bridge saddles measure 55mm. Having a hard time finding the right answer.

    A Rock n' Roll Tele

I almost did a Tele hybrid build with a blender knob, but that was a little too radical for me. Maybe next one?

    A Rock n' Roll Tele

Hello, I'm new here and excited to get to a new build. I've always wanted to build a guitar with a Tele body, even though I am not a huge fan of Teles. I just love the body shape, but I don't really like playing single coils. I like beefier sounding guitars for the style of music I play...
