I thought I would finally finish this project for better or worse.
I was going to get a flame maple neck and match the front of my body but I seen a neck warmoth posted on discount and went for that with this idea to try to match the looks of a Valley Arts guitar neck.
In the sun you can see the...
I seen some older post saying the intonation wouldn't be right so got worried.
But I did receive a reply from Warmoth today and thought I would share it so others wondering will have an answer.

I think I screwed up but some of that blame should be on Warmoth too.
I was going to order a 10-16" compound neck but seen they had a 12-16" with a mark on it at a discount and grabbed that. I always wanted to try a LSR roller nut so picked that option and Warmoth cut it and shipped it off to me...
Well I got into it big time and made some ground but I can't get it all out.
Going to sleep on it for awhile I am going to play this guitar a lot so it will probably get banged up anyways but I still hate to throw in the towel.
I also still have to hit it with the final buff.
Grabbed some Pictures of the back.
Some spots are dust from the clay still but you can still see the ones I knocked down some.
If I had a floor buffer I think I could of saved this but still going to try with a drill.
Try not to laugh to loud but I don't know anyone with a good buffing wheel so I bought one for my drill and started to hit it with the RED clay.
The back I might actually pull those spots out but it is going to take some work with this drill buffing method. Will take some Pictures of the back later.
I think the front would come out alright with the pick guard on it.
The body is a Alder body and a CAP.
I thought to keep sanding but I think I am nearing going through.
Well I finally got to 2000 grit but not liking it at all.
Is there any chance the buffing and compound process will pull the white dots out of the finish?
I let the solarez sit for 90 Mins and still got white dots here and there.
I would like to see HighLine guitars use Solarez on a dark finish...
