    G5 GK piezo Completed

I just completed another one but this time with a Music Man neck and a Roland Pickup. It's a G4 ,  I had to touchup the neck pocket to fit that neck. This one is even lighter than the other one , it's 8 pounds !

Sorry for the late reply , haven't come here in a while..... I'll talk about the "acoustic" unplugged tone; Lots of sustain , A bit "middish"  Compared to an All maple I have but less than my Fender Jazz (US highway)  , I really like it's tone. Don't know if it's luck , but no dead spot at all...

If you're curious about the VB99 I've posted some soundclip of what it is about. The unit is capable of a lot more , but it gives a basic idea of it's capacities. Played with this Warmoth and a modified Carvin fretless. http://web.me.com/fokof/Site/VB-99_Videos.html

Thanx! I really like it , it's almost perfect. When I'll have time , I'll thin down the neck a little bit. I build it to go with the Roland VB-99 , and it's a very nice combo. I also modded my Carvin fretless to be able to drive the VB-99 Nirvana :headbang1:

Hard to explain ; Lots and lots of sustain , tone is darker ( softer? ) than my other maple/alder body if that can explain..... That Graphtech bridge comes in the "medium" spacing (+-17mm)

    G5 GK piezo Completed

Hi , First post here .... The concept is a piezo only bass , no mag pickup , to be used with Roland's V-Bass. It can also be used "Stand alone" with the 1/4 out jack , in case of emergencies....  :help: I wanted to put a 45° out GK plug to avoid rippin it apart , those cable/plugs being very...
