I was looking for a LS5 in Bubinga with a Flame Walnut top. A tribute guitar in memory of my father. His favorite woods. Said they couldnt do it. I will have to change to something else. Any suggestions?????

Are the exotic woods getting harder to find? I just inquired about a build and it seems the wood isnt available in a L5S body. I am bummed out. :help:                                                Anyone else run into this?

Yes Warmoth did the routes for me. Just had it routed for EMG's. I really do like the sound of the pickups. Guitar is warm and woody with just enough bite.

Do you think Customs can tell if its really Braz. Rosewood? I dont  think so. I dont live in the USA and I just recieved a Strat neck in Braz. Rosewood. Maybe go that way....

Hi all. My father passed away Jan 24. and I would like to build a tribute guitar in memory of him.  :( Has anyone done this? Wood was his passion and especially loved Walnut and Bubinga. I need some ideas here. I already have Strats and Teles and was looking for something other than that...

I just finished a JBass with a Bubinga top and neck. It is finished with Danish oil. There is a pic of it in the finished JBass section.

Its something I had laying around. Picked it off of EBay. Dont really know what it means though.
