    Telecaster Build

They tried to rage quit, but I deny them that course of action. ...like a boss.

    Telecaster Build

I'm still finding my way around them, but that sounds pretty good. It has a good 50s tone and then with a push of the button I get the hotter 60s sounding tone out of them. They are active picks and it's a little weird with the fact that you recharge them with a USB cable rather than a 9v...

    Telecaster Build

Delays, delays, delay. No more delays. She is finally finished. She is nice can comfy to play for long periods of time, buttery smooth, and I'm extremely happy with these gristle-tone pickups. Being able to get the 50s or 60s tele vibe is a nice little extra to have. I am pleased.

    WEBSITE UPGRADE

It doesn't show me the actual custom painted body I'm ordering. What I get doesn't have the same grain pattern / paint like what it showed me while ordering! 🤬 ...I kid, I kid!

    SSH Soloist Wiring

Example 7 in this link appears to be an HSS wiring for a Jackson.

Favorite tuners for 25/64" (Schaller/Modern Fender) pegholes?

If you ever buy the Fender (Ping) locking tuners, always purchase or build a jig to drill the peg holes. Normally I just buy Schaller locking tuners which are almost twice the price, but I picked up the Fender ones and ended up having to fill the initial holes and redrill them with a jig to...

    Telecaster Build

This is my second Warmoth build. My first one was a quilted maple carved top Soloist body. I always wanted a Jackson Soloist, but never ended up buying one. So I built it! I went all out on the esthetics for the Soloist. I did not do that with this Tele. I just got what I wanted, and...

    Neck Screws

    Perfect, thank you! I swore I checked all-parts. :(

    Neck Screws

Hey all, I ordered the parts from Warmoth to build a tele with a contoured heel, but forgot to purchase the neck plate and screws. There has been a delay of a month or two since I ordered everything before I had time to built it, but as noted. I forgot the plate and screws. So since I have...

    Soloist first guitar build questions.

Hey all. I ordered the reamer and counter sink from StewMac and finally got them and was able to install the tuners. Everything when perfect.  Extremely happy with the outcome. So I've started to move forward and started looking at the body and installing the electronics.  I've noticed a few...

    Soloist first guitar build questions.

This is my first set of Bill Lawrence pickups.  I'm super excited about them.  I've been a DiMarzio guy for years. EDIT: Wow, your lawn is very (and nice) damn green!

    Soloist first guitar build questions.

Thanks for the 5-way switch wiring schematic.  That said, I think I will just dumb it down too and go with a simplistic 3-way switch wiring. (bridge-both-neck setup) I really wanted to go with single coils too for the versatility, but maybe in the future I can rewire it. (I already have the...

    Soloist first guitar build questions.

Alright, that makes more sense. Now I just have to figure out how I want to wire this one then.  I maybe better off just switching to a 3-way switch then I suppose.

    Soloist first guitar build questions.

Ugh.  I had no idea what the real investment was when I started this build and I don't doubt for a second is just going to get worse. Between the guitar parts and now the tools I keep having to buy.  I'm already $2,500 into this build and clearly I'm going to end up ordering more stuff as I'm...
