BTW, Warmoth CS responded. They said that Fender and Squier use different specs so they can’t make any guarantees. This pretty much makes it a non-starter for me. Without a doubt Warmoth bodies are better but they don't offer the color I want and I also really don’t want to wait that long...

Finally got the guitar from my tech today. While he was intonating it last week the pre-amp for the Fishman Tele set blew up. He heard a loud hissing and popping noise, then no sound. Fishman quickly sent out a replacement which he installed today and finished the setup. Holy crap! It plays...

Thanks! The neck is Gibson scale conversion, plain roasted maple, 1 5/8" nut, Wolfgang Carve, 6100 stainless frets, with the Earvana (compensated) nut, with abalone dot inlays. I thought about doing a flame maple neck but in the end, I thought it would too much "bling" with the body. Now that...

No idea, I’ve never seen or held one in person. The control plate contains the switch, pots, pre-amp, pickup mode toggle, and battery all in one drop-in unit.

N The big black thing is the rechargeable battery for the Fluence Greg Koch Tele set. There’s a micro USB plug integrated into the output jack for charging.

PSA: The control cavity required a little routing to fit the battery on the control plate. This is a Warmoth standard Tele route so if you’re going this route just know you can’t just drop it in. Also, I’m not doing the work. It’s being put together by Chris at Flippin’ Guitars in Haymarket...

Ordered through a local shop. They give really good discounts. I’ve ordered before and it didn’t take long. It’s just bad timing.

Still waiting on parts from Hipshot — chrome bridge and locking tuners. They said they’re “behind on production”. Ordered in late October, just a friendly PSA in case you were thinking of ordering.

Body came in today. It totally has exceeded my expectations! That quilt is just crazy. Not the greatest pics, but you get the idea.
