Many bass bodies are pre-drilled for the Gotoh 201. Is teh Hipshot A, Fender mount, bridge compatible with this bridge route?

What size hipshot tuners would fit? 3/8" or 1/2"?

If the woods and construction quality is good, a low B can work really well on a short and medium scale. I have  32" 5 string and the low B is great! Warwick new 32" 5 string is another example of a solid B on a shorty. But the higher C is also a valid option - perhaps more limited in sourcing...

Cool. I'll wait a bit longer for a wenge on padouk tilt back for a sc G4. And I'll wait to see what new bodies appear.

They do rosewood bass necks. Essentially I would love to do the raw neck thing. I can see a Maple neck working well with this colour. Just not sure on a dark brown rosewood (or wenge) colour??

Any suggestions for this body? I was originally hoping for a wenge/wenge neck on a swamp ash body (Love the Warwick tone woods) but this Dinky J looks so good I'm reconsidering?

Does anyone know where I could listen to the difference between wenge with ebony and wenge on wenge?
