Got home from vacation and built until it was done. I couldn't be happier with the end result, it has exceeded my expectations on all fronts, especially initial playability. Huge thanks to everyone here for their support, and to Doug for executing the neckplate that just sets it off. Also, big thanks to Warmoth for providing a stellar experience all around. You all rule.  :headbang4:

Birdseye maple on ash (satin) with roasted maple (unfinished) neck, weighs in at 7.8 lbs

That is one badass tele! I love non-traditional teles, especially with humbuckers and a rear routing! That sword neck plate is so great on that guitar, really adds a nice bit of flavor to it. Very cool guitar, I bet it's a lot of fun to play!  :kewlpics: :yourock: :hello2:
