This is my first attempt at a kit guitar.

Some mistakes were made but it has mostly went OK.

Body
Quilt maple on swamp ash body with 720 mod and natural mask binding.  Black dye finish on mbody and matching quilt maple with black dye on the headstock.
Neck
Flame maple neck with flame maple fretboard 1-11/16" nut, 24 fret with wizard profile.
Hardware
Schaller 475 bridge, Schaller Strap locks, Schaller mini locking tuner. Bare knucke black hawks with push pull on the tone knob.

I am now just waiting on a capacitor which i forgot to order so i can finish the wiring and finally hear it.

The only issue I am having is with the neck. There is insane buzz on the 1st and 2nd frets unless I crank the action way up. Ive tried adjusting the truss rod but its got to the point where I am sure the neck is flat, so I might have to visit my local plek machine and get the frets leveled. I actually had to shim the neck as well, the schaller 475 sits quite high and there wasn't any room for adjusting the action down further if I needed to.

I hope everyone enjoys.

Regarding the buzzing, you may just need to have a tech set the guitar up with proper relief. It's usually something that can be fixed by adding some relief to the neck if it's just the 1st or 2nd frets.

The neck seems to be settling a little now and slowly easing in the relief the buzz seems to be going away little by little. I think Ill need a little bit more shim in the neck but it looks like its going to be all good.

Warmoth makes some of the best necks on the planet, but they're not done when you get them. They're very nice right out of the box and many people install them that way, but by their own admission Warmoth doesn't level/crown/dress/polish the frets, set the nut slot depth or neck relief. That's considered "setup" because it depends on personal preference, playing style and string gauge. If you want it perfect they recommend you do it yourself or send it to someone like me.

Great looking guitar. Enjoy it. And as mentioned already just treat it to a good set up and that should nail it.
