Etta James Dies earlier at the age of 73
some of her songs have always stood out in my mind, the one "I'd Rather Be Blind" burns my sould

That's too bad. She was a rare talent. I normally am not a fan of female singers, but I make exceptions for the exceptional.

I love her doing that song!  It does hit the deepest corners of my heart.
