Your advice!

Hi everyone! Excuse the newbie-ness of this post, but I've been playing with the custom-builder on the Warmoth website and found myself wondering about the pickups, and could do with some advice about what would work best together in the configuration I'm fantasizing of!

Basically, I'm looking at a Jazzcaster body with three pickups: a humbucker on the neck, a Strat-type single-coil in the middle, and a Telecaster bridge (single coil again).

What specific pickup models do people think would work best together like this?

The biggest piece of advice I could give you would be to get all three from the same manufacturer to avoid phase complications. That said, if you have a favorite pickup maker, send them an e-mail letting them know what you are after and you’ll probably get some very insightful guidance and recommendations. I’d personally point you in the direction of Jesse at Revel Custom Pickups. He’s all about having that conversation and making exactly what is up your alley.
