Hi there. My Warmoth build has been an unlucky venture to say the least.
Got three messed up bodies from Warmoth (two in shipping), one neck that was warped (or really they had manufactured WAY too much relief into it).
Then I got a neck from USACG, that too was not quite there either, plus they got me the wrong headstock among other things...
The the Hipshot bridge I got that was supposed to fit straight on to the Narrow Strat mount wasn't quite compatible. Without a 720 the saddles were ridiculously high... Not sure why as the neck and body were Fender spec... The bridge obviously isn't Fender compatible...
I suggest unless you are really picky like myself get the "correct" parts, get everything from one source weather it be Warmoth or something else, and try to get measurements and measure it all out before ordering. Third party parts can be a hassle. However... The now almost finished product rocks... Sounds way loud acoustically... I'll post some pics soon... I am thankful this thing is over and I have a great luthier working on my guitars... I'll end up with a not totally perfect guitar, but a very good guitar for gigging.
However it's been fun. So I think every serious guitarist should give it a try...
