A sale/leftover build I never got around to taking pictures of - she's definitely not a showpiece, but I'm definitely not the collector type.

Yeah. They're both push-pulls and kept coming lose...they're around here somewhere, I'm sure. As for that knob tip...I haven't a clue where that ran off to.

Well that's something different! Cool. Those BL pickups?

Yeah, they are, thanks to you! They're amazing. The first toggle switch turns them in to one giant humbucker--the tone is outstanding.

And yeah, it is kind of a weird guitar, but I like it. I think I might make my next guitar a bit more conventional...but time will tell on that. :icon_jokercolor:

Thanks! I actually wanted blue, but the wife talked me into green. The guitar reminds me of an elf.

I think it's way cool too. I didn't really dig the BLs in my baritone tele, they couldn't handle the lows, and the strat set just didn't quite do what I wanted, but the tele set I've got now is really perfect. The series option is totally great on those too, isn't it? I love the series / out of phase also. Super versatile.

I like weird guitars! :) I probably would have liked blue better for the PG  though ;)
is that a rw/rw neck?

Sure is! It's got a nice canary stripe on the back, too.

You almost seem embarrassed by it but you shouldn't.  It's cool!

Nah, I'm not embarrassed--it's my go-to guitar. I just know it's quite a bit of a departure from what usually gets posted here.

Gorgeous, love it.  Sound clips.  Strum an open E a few times or something...

Sound clip attached. It goes neck, both in parallel, bridge, and then my special push/pull wiring that I sort of made up on the spot, but I'm pretty sure is both in series. Though it may not be since the sound changes based on the position of the selector switch. I just took a guess at how to wire the pot and after I plugged it in, never looked back.

Nice tone from your soundclip.  All positions are very useable and I bet when in series mode through a overdriven amp, the tone will bleed with molten lava.  It is a real workhorse that can adapt in any gigging situation.

The guard destroys it for me, but I am glad I got to see a hybrid guard lefty. I think I'd rather go with a standard one instead, now that I get a good picture.

I like it. Up close it definitely looks striking, but put 15-20 feet on it and it looks pretty organic:

I've come back and look at this a few times before posting, and finally decided I liked it. Organic is a good way to put it, I keep picturing some kind of vanilla-mint thing with a chocolate stick. Any guitar that makes me hungry gets a big  :icon_thumright:.
