Wolftone strat pickups. Anyone tried them?

Wolfe MacLeod, the man behind the company, worked for Warmoth in the 90's, so I figured this might be the place for this question!

I'd like to give this company a go (the 'bitch' pickup) as I'm looking for a punchy bridge pickup, but I can't seem to find any sound clips of them online. My friend loves their humbuckers and I've had the chance to try the marshallhead buckers in a LP and they are super loud and thick. I have no problem finding sound clips of the different humbuckers, but other than the 'flashbacks' I can't find any for strat single coils.

I'm not much for paying $90 for a pickup I've never heard, even though the 'flashbacks' sound really good (hear them here: http://www.wolfetone.com/flashback.html# )

If anyone has had hands on experience with single coils from Wolftone pickups, read or heard anything about them, I'd be very glad to hear from you  :hello2:

I have not heard them either but I come across the makers name online here and there and no one seems to have anything negative to say whatsoever. For better or worse we are blessed and cursed with LOTS of pickup makers and the solution seems to be in the ear of the beholder. I just spent more money than I can afford on a set of Kleins that I think will be the answer to my particular situation so I will see about that. It appears to be the new normal to invest in pickups online without laying eyes or ears on them in a shop and on a guitar as we used to with some frequency.
