"Winged Thing" Soloist

Here's another piece on its way to a great player in Florida...this was fun because there's a slight detail (you'll see it at the very end, on the completed guitar) that I hadn't tried before--and it worked as I'd hoped. The body is one-piece alder, it's getting Duncan p-90 & hmbkr p-ups, and a rosewood on maple neck.

...and completed. The circular metal piece in the middle of the skull is a medallion or concho sorta thing off a belt that my girlfriend gave up for the cause...I knew as soon as I saw it that this is where
it had to go.
