First, sorry if I'm posting in the wrong section, is my first post here.
Now, I want to make a Mahogany Iceman with Maple neck and Ebony Fretboard (with 24 frets with a KWS headstock)
So I wanted to know, do tou think it will neck dive?
Thanks for your answers  :)

Mahogany?  no, I don't think so.  You can use ultralite tuners and move the strap button to the neck plate as insurance, but I don't think it will dive.

I've never heard of an Iceman diving.  The Thunderbirds and a few SGs have that distinction.

why did that problem ever get passed gibsons so called "quality control"

Problem may be the wrong word.  Although not desireable, neck dive is not a quality control issue.  QC control issues don't come and go if you choose to play standing or sitting.  Why does a Thunderbird dive and an Explorer not?  QC?  Hardly.  Some of it is placement of a strapbutton, but ultimately it's a balance issue.
