Why doesn't Warmoth offer assembled guitars?

Hi Guys,
It looks to me that Warmoth only sells the parts, but they do not build the complete guitar?
Is that right?
Do people typically try and build their own, and / or find a Luthier to complete the fine tuned set-up?

Thanks in advance.

Warmoth are a parts supplier not a guitar manufacturer. They do not build guitars *

To answer your second question there are people who do the assembly and set up work themselves and others who have some or all of it done for them to greater or lesser degrees.

The Warmoth 40th Anniversary was going to offer a limited special run of some completed guitars called the Meadowhalk and Redshifter if memory serves me correctly. However due to the pandemic these have not been thus far offered for sale or full details released. It is not expected that this would become a new offering as standard.

It originally stems from the terms of the fender license, but it seems to work well for them, and they've outlasted some big names in the whole guitars business and a bunch of smaller names.

Yea they mention that it was part of the terms of their agreement with fender. But tbh the final assembly is a lot of work for not a huge increase in revenue. It would require lots of new workers and space, and would make shipping much more complicated. They have a niche and they fill that market perfectly.
